American Citizens just say “No” to illegal police checkpoints

This seems to be an interesting phenomenon. My wife and I passed through one of these checkpoints last year and I did not realize that the police had no authority under Federal law to stop and question you. After refusing to speak with the police, nothing happens to them – by itself this validates the idea that these stops are by consent onlly. ┬áThese people refuse to talk to the cops and then drive off. I don’t believe in the terrorist-hype and I feel that many of our freedoms have been eroded by the “War on Terror.” That being said, I applaud those who refuse to participate in this Big Brother violation of our rights to move about our own country unmolested by the Federal Police.
